We already know you should remember about the position of the team in the upper half of the table, but additionally do not forget to ignore that factor for the teams 5 through 8 in every league.

I should have removed the topic so people weren't evaluating it last night, i just wanted to see how the post looked (links, format, etc) while i was fixing that last thing :)

Also, please weigh in on this...

For the bottom division, should i cut it off at like top half of the teams? Don't judge your response there because "most of the bottom half are bots" - that won't be the case in all countries...

Btw, just because i said i was busy doesn't mean i won't be moderating the forum, it's not Open Jackass Day On Forums ;)

Updated first post (and one 3 posts above) with the current promotion table, think i got it (but i'm basing my rankings within a league on the order of the teams in the XML file, which may be an invalid assumption).

Please let me know.

B's vs C's division teams is not correct

This is the issue that should be corrected, there are examples of teams ranked higher in points (5 through 8) but they are considered lower in your promotion table (compare to my manual table for ML, A and B in the other post). Example: Aguilas son Campeones vs Fiambres de mierda &
FC Nippon.

Once it is resolved I will be impressed.

Some tips:
- sort B teams frist by points then by goals and both ASC
- sort C teams first by points then by goals and both DESC
- remove from both last 16 teams

Or you have old data. Promotion match against Zamboni I had a week ago.
