Subject: Bidding Blunder

I have no clue the person who owns the player I tried to buy this morning at US 4:30 pac time.. In my groggy state I tried to bid 16k as I just started and need trainees..and blundered a extra zero that I do not have.

Do I have any recourse at all? This is totally distressing and of course all my fault but he was clearly not worth that amount ;( Any advice, aside from witty jabs and utter meanness, is desired.. ;(

I forwarded the note to the Admins, who generally evaluate the error and see if a transfer price adjustment is appropriate.

Imho, you didn't overpay that badly, if at all.

Unfortunately this does seem to be fact. The fact is this player was not worth my purchase price but this game does not offer a transfer compare - so it is not easily apparant to ML owners who may not be truly aware of actual player values at these lower divisions.

Unless the Admins are notoriously scrupulous and are still looking into my situation, it would seem you are totally on target with your comment, islander.

My blunder - my responsibility -Ah well, starting off in the hole will build my constitution (;

yeah, jon's pretty market savvy, so its not the end of the world.

I made mistkes with money when I started too. Its why only now, in my second season, was I able to tangibly improve my team.

I one time wanted to bid 15,000 on a player. Bid $510,000 instead. THAT was a blunder.

Oh this believe it or not is my first bidding blunder in my 6 years on HT and my 2 weeks here - no probs, this girl is quick to learn from her mistakes ;)
