I had a modest change of heart last minute. I put a legitimate formation in, although with an experimental positional lineup.
The tactic, one of my standard, was NOT optimized for his team. I didn't care that much. But I figured if he sucked tactically bad enough...
Very amusing game. If it werent for his six star goalie, he might be in B league right now with a 41 point team average, bwhahaaha

Anyway, here's what happened:
When i set up a custom tactic for a team i normally use their name in the tactic name. And it's normally some kinda pun, ie pwn the wang for pwn wang. So for Pink Pirates, I initially created a tactic Pinky Stinky. Then i realized if she lost she may be upset, and i didn't want her to think the tactic name was to make fun of her, so i went and saved it with a new name, Pinky Plinky. I did this in a rush a bit before company was supposed to arrive.
Of course, i then deleted pinky stinky and forgot to change the match tactic order.
And now my supporters are furious with -16 for the next 5 updates or whatever, I didn't promote which i was ready for, i lose training, and i feel like an idiot :)

LOL, this was another reason I ended up choosing not to completely throw my Q-match. Because Panthers in my league did last season and said his fan club was wrecked.
instead, I gain 20 fans for losing, fanbase is still happy, and I'm in the division I want to be.

No one scores more than 3 goals on me, unless I let them. Either way, good game, too bad the weather didn't play towards my advantage.
