Greetings All,

Since no one else has stepped forward yet, I am doing so. I've trained Andrew Bogan for the National Team practically from the minute I started playing this game, and my entire training regimen has surrounded the development of him as a single player, so It would be great to have the chance to manage a proper team in the NT.

However, my candidacy depends on fromastaflex and dio-nisio not running for the position, I would withdraw my candidacy if they ran as I feel they would make fine candidates for the job, as fro has proven in his time in charge so far, and Dio has impressed me with his run from the lower leagues up through his recent promotion to the Major League.

That's just my opinion anyway, feel free to ask any questions or provide some comments :)

My run has been pure luck ^_^ Anyway, i'm not interested in national team (yet^_^), as in the next few months i will not have time as i'm thinking about a big change in my RL.

And yo uknow that i've always voted for you (HT and SK) whenever it was possible: but i like fro's way to do things, so you will have me struggle there!!

In your opinion, what does the National team need most and how could the public fill that need.

We aren't in terrible shape, a lot of our key players are still in trainable years 22 or under though we do have a few of older players, what we really need is just a couple of young players that are going to one day become superstars, instead of being sold off for profit at 21 and being replaced by a new trainee, keep the lad and train him up, one trainee out of 6 on each team being a dedicated NT Trainee would really help ensure our development, and prevent some of our rare talent from being snapped up by polish Ibramovich's who are just looking for another 50 to pad their league bench!

I'd like to know what order you rank the individual skills for the different positions?

Hope that helps. Certainly tough in some situations to list one skill over another as, in practice, I don't like players to be terribly lacking in any skill (other than keeper for outfielders) and like players that have adequate training in all areas, though there are always going to be some trade offs especially at higher skill levels.

Well, since no one has any questions or debates, I'll assume that I'm a shoe in and start preparing for my acceptance speech.

Looks like you rate technique lower for inner mids and central defenders than the majority. Care to elaborate on why?

Sure!

As I said, I am a big fan of well rounded players who exemplify each of the characteristic skills, especially the three Pace, Technique, Passing. So its not as if I don't value technique, its just that I feel all of the players should have a sufficient level of technique to begin with to be considered, though I would expect that the other skills would be even higher by comparison. It's not a rule, but a guide.

To somewhat put it in perspective, in the rare occasion that I am in the search of a new player for my own squad, I set the search to ensure that every player has X level of Technique, Passing and Playmaking, as I feel personally that these are 3 skills that every single player on the pitch (Minus Keepers) should have to even be considered for my starting lineup. Obviously I would also consider pace, but I typically leave that out in my personal squad's transfer searches because I've been training pace up on Andrew Bogan for a while and figure the player can benefit somewhat from this training.
