Subject: Cup Matches
i agree. there are so many shots that could have gone in. supposedly the new match engine makes it easier to score from long distance and harder 1-1 then it was previously, but overall it is still easier to score 1-1 then long distance.
I call total bs on that. Out of the 4 goals during that match, 3 were long distance, and 1 was close up, and not even a 1-1 situation. The ball was shot at the keeper, rebounded, shot at the keeper again, rebounded again, and then finally shot into the back of the net.
And then in the penalty kicks, c-league players made all of them, and billy missed all but one. there is definitely something wrong.

Billy's lost is what makes this game different from the rest.
I've said it before a C-League team with the right game plan can cause an upset, you would never see that in hattrick.

this guy would have honestly never won if Billy actually put defensive backups in the game.
This win is a total fluke, a result of Billy GROSSLY underestimating his opponent, not even putting a legitimate lineup in for him.
All this proves is that their is no I-win button in this game. Which I like about it.
But make no mistake, the loss is as much Billy's fault for not taking 5 minutes to throw a legitimate lineup in, as it is Jockey's smart game plan - and it was a good game plan, don't get me wrong.
But his best game plan, versus say my B lineup (with minimal scouting of him), still nets him a 3-0 loss to me, and I'm just a good B league team.

Enforcers weren't nearly as bad a team relative to the Cats.
I get outshot ALL the time, yet win most of the time. Often it's about the quality of shots, not the quantity.
Although luck is CERTAINLY a considerable factor.

the squad I'm playing isnt half bad. 31 team score. They somehow managed to demote themselves to an AWOL C44 promotee team, so I guess he can't be the brightest bulb in the tree.
