Subject: Cup Matches

I lost a national team player for 29 days during my cup loss. The injury got him kicked off the national team..... :(

Nah, I just feel that the most actual 'fun' I have in this game is the HA Sokker Cup, where I'm competing with 15 friends for bragging rights - even if it is playing my B team.

League play is just business. The most fun I have in that league is p*ssing off pewsum who loves to insist I've 'lucked' my way into all of my wins.

Nobody said anything about "lucked [your] way into all of [your] wins". But I do insist that you were lucky a few times.

Oh well, I guess admitting that there is some randomness in the outcome of sokker matches would take away from your bragging rights ...

you are always, ALWAYS saying I'm lucky. Even when i don't play you. It's fun really.

Of course there's some randomness in the game. Always. Far less randomness in this sim then any other soccer sim though - because there's more you can control here.

And no, that won't stop me from bragging. I need someone to piss off in every league I'm in to keep myself from getting bored. In C31 it was skyscraper. In B2 you won this duty because

a) all your whining about losing with a superior team on paper but them constantly 'not performing'

and

b) because you always have the best team on paper. Your team's been 5 rating points better then me both seasons so far. Having the head start and all. at least you've put your head start in the game to good use, I'll give you full marks for that :)

Plus you've also been the only team to scratch out a win against me in my career in league play. So it's extra motivation to ensure you don't beat me, ever again.

Whenever I promote to A league I'll find a new whipping boy. I already have a couple in mind depending on what division I end up in.

Note to self: If islander ends up in A.03, make sure you "pull a moley" again in a quali to stay in A.03 with him.
