I would find this a very difficult match to prepare for. Hungary played an extreme tactic last week, and it paid off huge. So what do they do this week ... extreme again, or back to something more conventional? :S
Good luck!

Yeh, that tactic was harsh. But, if they do use it, we can get some shots via break away.
Very true. A guy like Pickens (not sure where he is on the US depth chart) could be really effective against that formation.
Formations like that are a bit of a coin flip. It wouldn't surprise me to see England beat Hungary by the same margin if last week's match were replayed (with the same tactics). I think it would take some kahonies from Hungary to use it again this week.

Both Pikens and Stokes have been in terrible form and it's affecting their play.
I made some changes, hopefully they will payoff!

Good point. :) I hadn't really meant to suggest playing Pickens - was trying to say that is the kind of player (IMO) that would work best against that formation.
Yey =]
Now we just need to get some guys back into from.

Well, 3 goals from 5 shots, 3 cards from 11 fouls... Lucky win... Anyway, congratulations.
Some nice tactical tweaks. :)
McLeish had a great game. His second goal really surprised me - I didn't expect him to beat a keeper like Gabor from that kind of angle.
@ Jurkasz - I know you aren't managing Hungary at the present, but thought you might be able to answer this anyway. Was there any thought about using the England tactic in this one?

No, absolutely not. McLeish and Stokes with their high technique and even Russell with his high defender skill (maybe Pickens too, I don't know too much about him) are very dangerous for a defense like this.
Gábor has low form, that's why McLeish could score from there. Král is injured, and our third keeper, Héder is not good enough yet.

I have his fresh skills(No, I didn`t ask them from the owner), he has excellent defending:)

Interesting. :) That tactic almost certainly wouldn't have been as effective against strikers of the caliber the US possesses, but I'm a little surprised it wasn't even considered.
I've seen Pickens too (tho not recently). His pace and tackling can be a nasty combination when he is in decent form. :)

I watched the match and I have to admit, that USandA`s second goal was impressive.
Thumbs up for McLeish.
