I've always wondered why we don't play with three attackers. There are some strong formations with three attackers, and we've got good strikers.

Not meant as criticism of the coach - thought it was a good tactic today. But the Peru manager almost never uses wingers (with club or country). So 3 at the back would likely have been sufficient.

The extra player could have been used as a forward (like that idea) or as a second DM to boost possession and cut through balls (Peru's main source of offence).

Yeah, i forgot about that. Bosnia is now the lowest 3rd place team in group H. They play Germany (1) and Bulgaria (5) in the coming weeks.
