I'm not saying that Laipman isn't impressive. I'm saying that until I stop training Jarhead, he's going to stay proportionally better than Laipman.
PS Laipman is good enough that he deserves a nickname.

The thing is, he has none of the things I look for in an IM. Of course, in this game there is a lot of freedom to use different types of players based upon your offense, but when I look for an IM, I need defense first, then tech PM and passing.
His stats don't even make for what would be an attractive winger to me, because he's too imbalanced.

laipmann is a winger, id never play him in the middle.
he will be different than jarhead in the fact that i wont train his playmaking nearly as high, but put more focus on the three secondaries

I was referring to jarhead.
I just get irritated because I look for more balanced IM's and people like jonandabby train them in ways that are useless for my system, which makes it hard to find players.

That's exactly the kind of player I'm looking for.
He'll have good or solid defense by the end of the season, and VG by the time he's 22. I'm not sure why that is "unbalanced," unless you want a bunch of medium stats instead of a bunch of top stats to be matched by a few medium stats....
By the way, what works in your system isn't relevant to my training needs. I'll have two defensive mids, and need Jarhead to patrol the middle of the field and feed my wingers and forwards.
