Subject: Goodbye to a ML'er

It seems that vision formally has given up, he just put up all of his players on the TL.

He was one of the best teams in the USA, player-skill-wise, having been consistently in the top 5 from a ratings standpoint.

Edit: If you're gonna give up, just let your team go bot. No one likes a walkover in their series. Or no one who isn't a coward, at least :)

If it were me, I would sell all of my players, just like he did. It has nothing to do with being a coward. It has more to do with wanting them to move on and do fine elsewhere rather than just wasting away...

EDIT: Haha, nevermind, I see now why you're QQing. You're mad because you had to play him, and now everyone else will get a walkover... well waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! :P

I won, so unless you really think i'm concerned about giving the other teams a +4 Goal Differential in my series, you're not really right.

I just hate a skipped week, i happen to look forward to the games (when i remember to set a lineup :)

He did cost you the ML promotion (auto) last season.

Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten that, because i didn't blame him as much as the team i had to field, being out either 4 or 5 starters.

Is there a small chance he is just retooling? You know, making dust and building a new squad? I mean he has logged on several times today.

I doubt it, or he'd have posted or something, but hopefully that's it :)

It is amazing that every time you discuss near losses your number of starters that were out increases. Pretty soon you'll be playing your coaches because your team bus was hit by a meteor or something.

It wasn't a near loss, vision crushed my crumpled team.

That week the following players were out:


Ireneusz Oceipa (injured +23 from earlier), top center mid or sometimes defensive mid depending on opponent

Bernard Hołowczyc (red card) - winger or sometimes center mid

Leszek Piwnicki (red card) - Winger

Luiz Fareleiro (injured +23 from previous week), top striker

In addition, in minute 16 with the score tied, i lost my best defensive mid with a red card. (Game tied at that point, tho they took the lead with the resulting PK)

In addition, in minute 76, i lost my other defensive mid with a red card, tho the game was already lost (4-2) at that point


OK, so 6 players, not 4-5. :P

We actually get along well. Islander was surprised when i wasn't more annoyed that jon beat me for the autopromote last season.

But medfest, i am annoyed that you quoted him, i thought i pretty well pwn'd him on the response...
