Subject: Cup meaningless? A discussion...
I understand. You can say that because you are at the top, but some small team from B. A team that has a lot to improve should not be saying something like that. I don't think even a team in the A. Our teams don't have the financial power to build two teams. I just keep my trainees and that's it. This season my run in the cup help me a lot to get more fans in the stadiums and in the fan club. Therefore I get more income every match even the friendly games.
Tabaquito: I totally agree with the financial bonuses for sticking around. Believe me, this season's exit by my team was unusually early, the past two seasons I got pretty far even with a training team.
However, using the Cup to gauge your team against better teams is just inaccurate. The only way to compare your team to the better ones is to promote and get up there.
Unless its starting 11 on starting 11 (or pretty close) actual results aren't worth much. cup, friendly, or otherwise.

From the Qualifier matches that I've watched between AL VS ML, tactics made most of the difference. Tactical flaws get exposed quicker in the ML.
The thing that gets most exposed are the Babes' hairy legs. Ugh.
jejeje. well I keep that in mind any time I play any of you guys again. It is a great feeling to play against the better teams. playing the league games gets old after a few seasons. a win against the kat's was very special to me. even if he played his c team.
Yeesh....you mean Guac hasn't instituted mandatory shave downs?
Yep not just smarter managers, but better caliber of players that can exploit lesser openings.
