The downtime meant I couldn't set my lineup for the league match, so my B-squad played and I lose to game that, had my A-team played, I would have won by 4+ goals. That also gives me my first loss and lets the field catch back up to me. Extending transfer times and not match times for a sufficient period to allow lineup changes is bull.
stop whining....you should of set your lineup at least a day ahead of time ;)
you are still on top of your series anyways :D

I agree with Athos actually. My team went unmanaged.
Here's why:
out of town Friday night til 4:30pm Sunday.
I didnt worry about managing the team away from home, because who knew the server would crap out. In fact, I thought about managing it early sunday afternoon before I left visitors place, but per usual this server is dead with Polish matches running. Again, not the end user's fault.
Got home, and nothing.
Now, I DID set my lineup and tactics, but not tweaked for my opponent. So that was annoying. Its one thing if the downtime is announced.
Now, I do completely understand the need to move sites like they did. But running the matches dark? Extremely lame.
If down time is going to be announced, then that's one thing.

Know what? the game went down like 2h before our matches from what i know.
You have known for at least 3 consecutive weeks that there have been problems with the servers on match days...
You have known by a recent news post that they were working on configuration issues.
I'm sorry guys, you all know me and i'm normally levelheaded and understanding. But in this case, anyone who expected to log in 2h before the match on sunday to put in their orders gets VERY little sympathy from me.
And islander, how many times were you on between the previous sunday and this sunday?
Running the matches dark i'd understand if it was down 2 days before the connectivity dropped, but many countries were DONE before the connectivity dropped from what i know.

dude, yes we KNOW about problems with servers on match days.
Thats why we don't bother logging in until 4pm when Europe's done. Its those exact problems that keep us from logging in.
I always scout my opponents matches day of, or at the very earliest Thursday. It's not my responsibility to manage the team ahead of time - unless the downtime is ANNOUNCED.
Anyway, that being said, they did a VERY good job with the location turnaround.
Glad I won this week, thats all :)

so they should have announced that their internet provider was going to collapse in a heap the week before they were switching to an expensive hosting solution?
No, they shouldn't have run US games dark. That's all.
Everything else = fine

Ok, so you're bitching because with tweaking your lineup you were hoping to hold him below 0 shots? Perhaps if you had tweaked your lineup, the game would have realized what a wonderous job of scouting you did and it would have been the first time the engine ever did the "referee looks in awe at the array lined up against teamname and immediately sends their strikers off the field in reverence to your greatness".

1) They need to give plus users an extension for this downtime.
2) "This is complete crap", service is so bad that downtime is to be expected. I don't know how they do it in Poland but to me "This is complete crap"!

1) they already have.
2) they just paid for a high end hosting service. The game just doubled in a year. I guess they feel they can afford that now, or are investing before they can due to expectations of growth.
3) Downtime is to be expected when it was warned they were having problems, and it's happened a few weeks in a row.
4) The news announcement says that they were planning on moving on friday anyway. They should have expected the hosting provider to crap out a week before that move in your universe? The description of the hosting setup they now have is robust indeed, much more than i woudl have thoguht they could afford based on plus numbers today.

I really could have used more goals scored. Proper tactical assignment of my strikers would've secured that.
It's not like I won't renew my PLUS. One questionable judgement call doesn't spoil a game :)
I know all about games making questionable judgement calls BTW :)

Jesus Islander1 when I started reading this I thought you had lost. Remember the comments you made last week after my joke of a draw? I am with Guac here, my heart bleeds for you and your win... ;)
PS the Blackhawks have a week's jump on the Islanders on the golf course!!!

Guac, just because your life revolves around this game doesn't mean everyone else's does. I usually set my lineups for HT and SK on Sunday afternoons, when my girls go down for a nap. That's just when I do it. Please don't try to pretend that anyone should have "known" there could be issues because of something they've read here or there and thus change their schedules around and set their lineups early. That's a load of unrealistic crap and you know it.
Normally I don't like to agree with Athos because he's a touch whiny, but the big guy's got a point.
However, in the end, I wasn't able to set my lineup. I lost. Life goes on. Sokker is just a game to me, and I am one of the few out there, I think, who gets way more out of it than they put in...

you wanna feel sorry for someone, check out sudan's loss to tampa tigers in walkover.
Sudan is an attentive manager, and had a definite chance in this game.
