does pace train slower than other other trainings? because it took one of my players to pop from good to solid tech 3 weeks in the beginning of the season and then it took him 4 weeks to pop from good to solid in pace......

thanks

No, it is just that the pops slow down at higher levels. Faster from weak to average than from solid to very good...

Umm, his example was good to solid in both cases.

Any chance the tech had some sub level to start with that might have dropped it from 4 to 3?

The second time he might have reached 2.9 weeks training effect. If you had trained something else he would have randomly popped in a week or two.

Pace training is slower than others (not sure about keeper training). I've been following my players training results about a year now and there is a difference.

how big is the difference?

Misperceptions...

I've been observing players for over a year and pace training is not slower than other training except of course Stamina.

I'd say if someone in higher levels needs 5 weeks to pop in pace then he needs 4 weeks to pop in other skills. Something like that.
One of my players needed 7 weeks (1,2,2 and 2) in technique and 9 weeks (2,2,2 and 3) in pace from hopeless to average. Headcoach was unearthly in both skills.
