He's not really up and about. He's doing his best to imitate a couch potato. Although he does have this neat little machine that bends his knee back and forth that he has to use for like 6 hours a day. That's pretty cool. the thing weighs like 50 pounds, too.

I wish they'd had one of those gadgets when I had mine done. It would have been a whole lot easier than trying to force myself to inflict that kind of pain on my body...:)

yep. Sounds like all the orthopods I've ever met. My orthopod gave me a towel and said, "Make sure you move that knee every day. And, every day move it more." Somehow, I think the pain would have been easier to take and push farther through with a machine...as opposed to my own hand.
