Subject: training and position

Maybe someone can explain as I can't seem to wrap my brain around it. Will changing position of my players affect their training and are there any limits?

For example, if I want to train technique to my midfielders, can I set all 10 players to "Mid" position for my friendly (which I don't care if they are all running around passing the ball, thus I lose the match), thus maximizing my training. Or am I limited to a certain number of players that can be set as "Mid" each match? Are there any other parameters to the positional affect on training? Thanks.

The max for each position in one match to receive training is

5 MIDs
5 DEFs
3 ATTs

So, to receive training, you can have 10 'trainable' mids in a week at most.

A little off topic, sorry to hijack, but you'll notice its set up to the midfielders advantage in the rules. ATT and DEFS seem to be at a disadvantage. Im guessing this is done because mids are supposed to be the most well rounded?

i.e.:

Training of passing

Passing is most effectively trained by the midfielders (MID), the remaining positions train slower.

Training of playmaking

The training of playmaking is similar to that of passing. The position that profits most from the training are playmakers/midfielders (MID).

Training of defending (tackling the ball)

You can select the position that will train defending most effectively during the week, (you can choose MID.)

Training of technique

Similar to defending, it is most intensively trained by the position selected for the current week. (Can be MID)

Other positions will train less favorably.
