4 of the recent new teams over the past weekish are my buddies, if everyone had ONE friend in real life we could expand the # of usa users by so much

as if we all know someone who likes soccer ;)

I've had several of my friends try sokker but they are too entrenched with ht to stay committed. I don't understand how they can stay with ht because sokker is so much better.

I can understand why.

Its because they've committed too much of their life to hattrick, and this game is far more realistic, and thus complicated, then hattrick - which any monkey can pick up.

We've all seen teams run as if they were hattrick teams...and those teams tend to underachieve because this is not a sim where one attribute makes a player good.

basically, hat trick is more for simpletons ;)

I've asked a few HT friends to try sokker.

The usual response is HT takes very little time to play.

i'm curious...never having tried ht (...and not interested in doing so after reading threads like this one...)...is the on-line community there as active and relational as this one?

i'm not the best person to ask, but my understanding is that the on-line community is a strength there.
