Subject: New USA Teams
i'm not the best person to ask, but my understanding is that the on-line community is a strength there.
Yeah, Mark, the community is what drives the game over there. I played for 3 years, and they booted me from the game (twice), and I just got a new team because I like the forums.

If you pay HT supporter, you have access to federations and there is where i met a lot of people, that now have become friends (i met few of them). I like HT as much as i like Sokker, but if i/m ask to pick one of them i will probably pick HT because of the community, and i don't mean the global or the italian, or the american, but the people in the federations i'm in. I used my private cup spot as a PLUS user to invite the friends i have in one of the HT federation so we can communicate over here as well.

I think the drop in the quality of hattrick in some ways effects new people joining sokker. I use to log in to hattrick several times a day, now if I log in three times a week that's a lot. I've been in dIII for two seasons, and I've barely scouted the other teams, something I would have done immediately in dV a couple years ago.
Point being, I think the loss of interest in hattrick makes people over there less willing to get into another soccer sim, the enthusiasm isn't what it was before. Luckily I got into sokker before my interest in hattrick dropped off the table (although I only stayed interested b/c of the feds, not the gameplay, which has sucked for about one RL year IMO.)
