Yeah, but in the world the ratio of users:bots is 1.63:1 and in the US it is only 1.08:1.

it would be nice to see that ratio improve on something other than the bimonthly basis it does now--between guac's purges.

the good news is most of the welcome messages i've been sending are getting opened. i remember in the summer and fall when it was less than 25%. this is a good sign.

what is the current welcome message, and are you the only one sending it?

it is not an "authorized message" per se. it is just something I decided to send out as a friendly gesture to new teams. i've been sending it for over a year, now. here it is:

Good to have you with us. I hope you have as much fun at this as my kids (griffin_slayer and nut101) and I do.

i just wrote a fro unofficial newbie guide too, im talkin to guac about possibly closing it and keeping it bumped in the newbie forum.
