Subject: New USA Teams

that's cool. i saw there were several to add yesterday...and it was game day. you (almost...shhh) never add teams on game days. so, i just bided my time.

Here is a thought...perhaps a bit "out there"...but, i'm trying to come up with ideas to increase involvement of new managers...so...

in my welcome message, i started to add my willingness to play these teams at my first opportunity in a friendly...but with the volume of sign ups, that could quickly become impossible. fortunately, i have not had that much response, yet. anyway, for now, i took that offer out. but that lead me to an idea: what would y'all think of forming a pool of managers who would be willing to keep friendly slots open to help new teams get a couple of good start off matches right as they are starting up?

understood. that's why it would take a pool. and whoever is available would take up a game. i'd be willing to try and organize it...but it would take a pool of probably a dozen eventually. like i said i didn't have much response before i took it out of my message, and we still ahve only about 20-25% of new teams even oopening the welcome message...but you never know.

heck throw me in for this. I usually make early exits in the cup/run through a friendly league the rest of the season.

does it announce somewhere when new people sign up for plus

not that i have found...but that would be good info to have...

over 500 teams? we've got to be getting close to a purge....and i suspect it will be UUUUGLY!
