Subject: A new low

So I clinch my first B league title with two games to go, I blow out my opponent 8-0, I have one league loss in my last 40 or so games, and I get a whopping 7 new supporters.

You played a bot this week, who's won twice and is horrible.

You expect your supporters to keep increasing while you play horrible teams?

Why would anyone ever want to promote then?

Look, the supportes apparently are not smart enough to support me when I win, I cleary fail to see how they would know the team I am playing has no coach (Kind of like the Philadelphia Flyers).

Why promote? Ego of course, just ask the coach of Babes and why he makes his entries in PINK!

my point was your opponent sucked, and they knew it, not specifically that he sucked because of lack of a user coaching them actively.

Guac I realize that, you realize that, supporters are muppets, they should not realize that!!

Btw, if any ML or top A-league team relegated to B-league (on purpose or by fluke or whatever), we would win MUCH bigger, and would actually lose supporters each week. As it should be. Promote and play in the bigger leagues and the supporters will come.

And I appreciate that, and that is my point, I am closer to promoting than ever, they should be drooling to get on board.

fla21667 : not if you're close to, or at 1200 fans now.

My understanding from an old thread is the B league soft cap is 1200. I imagine you are, considering I've been in B at least one season less then you, and I'm already at 1135.

hmm. no idea then. There was a thread here back when ovcollege was still in B that suggested what I said.

It's been my experience that friendlies may also have a slight impact on number of new supporters (kind of like supporter mood).

You just lost 11-0 in your last one. Reverse it for this upcoming friendly, and then see how many you get.

I have 1273, so I am over that number. Thanks kysupercat, that makes sense, though I was blown out the week before too and got 14.

I am not really bugged by the reduced #, but 7 was what got me going....

A tougher series should have a higher soft cap.

B 10 has been tough for a few seasons, just ask Hav.

I dunno, though. I just always seem to get more supporters in a week where I win both a friendly and a league match, instead of just a league match under similar circumstances.

B10 pales in comparison to the mighty B2. :)

33.9 baby. it's why I'll probably end up stuck in B league again. Competition is too good, for the second season in a row I'm struggling to get a favorable promotion matchup.
