at this point, wages aren't an issue for even the top polish teams. Actually, wages probably need to increase at some point to get cash out of the economy...
@islander, yes HT is more economics than football. I have had a great run on the verge of running from div V to div III in one season. the sad thing is, if I do that I will be bankrupt in another season. I have to retool before I can fathom a promotion. Like Guac said it is the huge drop in player values that are causing it. Still I like the challenge.
My HT team is in the lower half of the wage scale in D3 with 300k in wages.
its funny. over on the HA closed beta, we are virtually all pushing Icko hard to make Hockey Arena less economics and more hockey.
it's working, and it'll show in the new version of the game going in next season with UFA reforms, and other changes to the game being worked on now.

The difference is that in HA, if you continue to improve, then you can afford to continue to get better players and build your stadium etc. In HT, the wage curve makes it impossible for non-boosted teams to afford to get players much better than titanic. Eventually, EVERYONE in HT that wasn't boosted will have titanic players with an ET or two sprinkled in, and where's the fun in that?
haha I dunno, level the playing field and force you to manage your way past opponents, instead of buying your way past them?
Except there is basically little to no management in HT.
- Low/Med/High and management of TS
- Formation played and defensive / towards wing / offensive order
- Play Creatively / Pressing / etc.
That's about it, eh?

good thing I dont waste my time with HT then, eh?
Well HT claims to be getting ready to include contigency orders, so it is try in to add the element, but it is a cash management game.
They are just trying to copy Sokker!
Anyway, I do play both ....

I just dont like getting into heavy cash management games. I've got enough trouble managing my rl cash.
I manage money for a living, and I do not enjoy the cash management part. I wish I enjoyed HA like you do.. oh well...
Lol, I do better managing cash online than RL,
and I am in the hole a little bit here!
