Is there any kind of drop off in training from changing your head coach alot?
2007-06-14 21:23:27
if you improve your head coach, your training will improve.

There's nothing negative (outside of salary hit, lol) to improving a head coach.

Also, it's a quite valid tactic to swapping back and forth between 2-3 head coaches (who you use as assistants or youth in the alternate weeks) if you are chaning training a bit to complementary training (ie passing, pm, tech for MIDs) and each coach have unearthly in only some of the stats...

ok thats what i was asking if anything was preventing me from have a coach that just trains def and one that just trains passing etc.
2007-06-14 21:50:17
No, absolutely do that.

But you should only have one group of people training, the area where you have all kids...

Don't train strikers then switch to defenders, etc...

Nothing would prevent that, but keep this in mind (lesson learned from experience): If you plan on training a skill set for an extended period of time, it is extremely helpful for that coach to have strong skills in more than one discipline. The instances of secondary pops greatly increases if you do not have a one skill coach.

I know, ive been training defenders for a while and now they are all outstanding or incredible but can't pass, so i was just making sure there isnt any adverse effects of multiple head coaches as there might be in real life.

He can't afford multi-skilled coaches yet.

But fla's point is valid, as soon as possible, get a head coach with 2-3 unearthly stats...

Then again, he just posted in another forum that he bought a 23K junior coach!

Heh
2007-06-14 23:05:31
actually that was a 23K upgrade, as in that much more than i was paying before. But I'll upgrade my head coach when I have the income to do so, I probobly did untill i spent it on that junior coach.

Your auto promitng to B it looks like, have decent ratings. Should be able to upgrade that main coach soon.
2007-06-14 23:26:50
I'll autopromote unless i loss to my arch rival.

Is it ok to only have one assisstant, or would that hurt me alot?

Assistants help with random pops. I would never recommend not having them.
2007-06-15 14:37:34
ALWAYS have 3 assistants. Always. Always. ALWAYS. 3 VG assistants or 3 excellent assistants aren't all that expensive. ALWAYS!!!!
2007-06-15 15:33:48
yeah, until very recently, i was still carrying 3 VGs.
2007-06-15 16:40:53
what they said. 3 assistants at whatever level you can afford. If you're spending too much money on other stuff that you can't afford coaches at C-level, you're making a big mistake with monetary prioritization.

Any idea, how much more effective say 3 formidable coaches are compared to 3 very good ones? Wages for 3 FO coaches are about double of what you pay for 3 VG ...
