Subject: Older Players

The Rules says "older players skill update" occurs on Sundays. What is the line on who qualifies as "older"? And, how does this work?

As a player approaches his 30's, his skills may begin to gradually deteriorate.

that part i got. but what does it mean that their skills update on a different date than other players...and also what age does this later update begin to apply at?

Skills will drop on Sunday for older players. You would be able to notice it better with Plus.

ok. I got that part--now. But what age does it start showing this drop? 30+? or does it show lower down?

I've been told 28, tho the youngest I've had a drop is 29.

Anyone have some experience with 30+ year old players? I'm wondering how fast their skills can drop.

I'm looking for some old cheap defensive help. If I get 1-2 seasons out of them before they drop to worthless that's ok.

when i just started the game i bought a 30year old very good keeper (back then i thought i spent a fotune) and before he even played one game his goalkeeping went down to solid...

i was not let's say too excited about that...
