Any predictions?

Last season many players sold for less then expected. What do you think will happen on Moday?

High prices or Low Prices?
Should we buy now and sell next week or should we buy next week at lower prices?

I think it takes a few days to really warm up the market. A lot of teams that start off selling don't have a lot of money but want to make purchases, so they have to sell to earn enough to bid for other players a few days later.

The Sokker Week 1 market is so unpredictable, though.

I actually thought there were more sales the last week of the season this year...people probably getting a jump on next season's market, that way they do, in fact, have enough money from the gates to be competitive in bidding.

That would explain the relatively low prices that we noticed in week 1 last season. It's a timing issue then.

Definitely. Several teams update their stadiums and make other upgrades (coaches) in the offseason, which depletes a lot of their cash reserves.

Week 1 should be buyer's market then!

Week 2,3 and 4 will be seller's market.

I can't wait!

I never sell in the first week.

There's also a difference between low level players and high level players.

Newbies can't really affect the price of high level players but will overbid on the low level players.

Bonus time is the only time that many new teams will have a dime to spend so there will be many anxious buyers.

I recall last season Jon saying there was a weird delay in that the good sales were to be had in week 3.

I'm just gonna ask Jon when to sell next season LOL.

Well, I won't be involved. Barring an EXCEPTIONALLY good deal, I've got everything the way i want it...maybe...

Week #3. Not 2. Maybe 4. But 3 is the best.
