Subject: Cup Round 1
I managed to get a home game by this point last season...it was either round 1 or 2...and I can assure you I wasn't the lesser team back then. I couldn't have been.
This weaker team as home system is stupid anyway, just like on HA. The only good reason to stick around in the cup is the money, and that's pretty neutered thanks to this system.

I was ranked #1 in B the previous season and I didn't get a home Cup match last season until Rd 4. I would suspect you to be in the same situation this season, unless their are an abnormal amount of upsets.
Home field doesn't have a bearing on the game, (that we know of) so the only thing lost by no home matches in Cup is the difference in arena size ($$$). If there was an advantage for being at home, like that oHTer game, then I could see the reason for complaining.

last season when you beat me I wished it was at your home :(
You know, looking at what will effectively be my B lineup from here on out...I can totally see myself losing in the Cup this week, to a banned B team.
The lineup I'm using for training isn't pretty...isn't pretty at all.
Unless I go the stamina route this week, which I'll probably think about, but I think I'm better served trying to wing it this week because the team I'm playing is CPU now. They just have awfully good strikers for a B team though.

One of my mentees is playing me. I'm gonna lose, and never hear the end of it.
ehh not necessarily. I beat Guacamole (much to his surprise, I think) 11 on 10 last season in the HA Cup semis, and knew better.
It surprised him at the time, and that was good enough for me.
I just am feeling like I'd rather do the specific training this week, and see if I can pull this out of my rear somehow. I'll have my starting defense in...but I'll be trying out an all-new formation. a 4-5-1 that I'll be using all season in friendlies.
It might be ugly. It should be ugly ;)

it was the HA cup, islander, keep that in mind...
of course. but you DID try to win. Just with one in the corner.
I don't try to win any games - league, Cup or Friendly. I have no idea why I win anything.
(Is my "Billy-lite" strategy working?)

haha, you are angling to be his padawan learner I see :)
I see what your saying, i'll be lucky to win another game in my sk career.
that may be billy-heavy dude. he's not THAT bad.
"Once I was but the learner. Now I am the Master!"
My team really does suck. Just look at the facts. I lost in round 2 of the cup 2 seasons on a row.
i see what your saying. if the $6M i invested in trainees last season was invested in starters id have beaten you 2 weeks ago and would have a shitty cup team/lost already in it too =)
