It's amazing what a difference Kast made. My guys had crazy chances to score, but it seems like an unearthly goaltender makes inferior strikers just make...stupid...decisions.
There were two times where Ninijarhu had an open net to shoot at. one was REALLY open. He just dribbled it right into Kast after having a good two sconds to drain it into the back of the empty net.
Not complaining about it. Rather, it's fascinating to face a world class goalkeeper and see what happens. I am 100% positive I'd have scored one if not two more goals if he left Kast out.
Jon had some very good chances to score too. hit the post a few times. one of his 'backup' strikers has a rating of 50..thats pretty sick ;)

I wish they would call the rounds by those names instead of by their numbers, it sounds much more special when it has a name. What round # is the final?
beats me, but my Cup run is done.
I have to go back to my training lineup next week. I got away with playing starters this week because I had a walkover in legaue.
Even then, Jon's team score with backups was virtually the same as mine (39 ish). Kinda scary.

Seriously - well played match. I would have thought I'd get at least one goal - my forwards and mids weren't THAT awful.

I'm folding the tent tonight, and putting the training rotation in.
It's not like my team has any shot at all at winning the cup.
As long as I keep doing better then benmor though, I'm happy. Two seasons in a row now ;)
I'm gonna watch it though. Should be funny. Didn't scout Cats at all, have all four strikers playing midfield wheeee :)
