Subject: USA Future Stars Season 10

2007-08-31 02:47:43
He's not a tweener. He's a STUD tech trainee. KY?
2007-08-31 07:36:32
He will likely be out of my price range.

Third nice potential striker this season, I got strong commitment to train properly for the first two, I hope this one falls in good hands also.

Wow - I didn't realize Wallace would stir such discussion! :)

I'll be keeping him (unless somebody here names a price I just can't refuse). I don't want to focus my entire training program on one player, but I'm going to try to help Wallace develop as much as I can.

He is a tweener, by which i meant he's between a few positions. Or do you think highest stat in passing and lowest in tech is best for a striker? Or a defender with avg defending or a mid with avg defending and avg pm?

Of course when developed, he can become good in ANY position based on the training plan. Hence why i called him tweener.

So don't correct me or i'll tell everyone about your nickname.

Nickname?

Now that you started it you can't not follow through :P

Don't believe a word he says. He is unreliable. And silly.

Re: A pace & tech player getting Holmes & sell him to you next season...

I've got a coach that is unearthly for both of those (I've been training tech all season long. That's why I'm keeping him for now, to see if he can improve quickly)...

sound good?

Sounds good for Holmes, I'll let you know when I'm ready to get him from you.

This week:

Week 9: Jeff Perez incredible (+70%) 3.33 weeks/pop
2007-09-05 01:02:03
well, one of his nicknames is "bloot", but that's not the one i was referring to. There's another nickname, which hints a bit more about the supersecret side of his persona...........

I think Perez can be excluded from the Future Stars list. What do you guys think? I am a pace trainer. But I don't see too bright a future for the guy.

Jeff Perez, age 19
value: 106 500 $, wage: 1 450 $
very good form

adequate stamina,
poor pace,
unsatisfactory technique,
poor passing,
tragic keeper
very good defender
solid playmaker
solid striker
2007-09-06 06:50:23
unlucky, crappy other stats even with the tragic keeper
2007-09-06 06:53:29
I never get lucky on youth pulls. My other pull was an outstanding.....he turned out to be a 20 yo very good keeper.

I don't think it is even worth my time to train either of these turds.
2007-09-06 06:53:55
What about this guy:
Came out incred +2 talent 4.5

Artie Sherman, age: 20
value: 131 750 $, wage: 1 700 $
club: F.C Tampa, country: USA
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

poor stamina, tragic keeper
very good pace, good defender
solid technique, tragic playmaker
excellent passing, weak striker

I train pace, should I keep him?
2007-09-06 07:31:31
The PM is frustrating. I don't buy defenders with no PM.
2007-09-06 07:52:53
Am I the only one who thought pm is like the 4th or 5th most important skill for defenders? I thought i was like...Defending, Tech, Pace...passing...a charming personality...then PM.Or something like that.
