Subject: USA Future Stars Season 10

Lakay, what do you think I should do as a team about to head into B this year. Sell him, and improve my stadium a bunch, buy a nice player or two and upgrade my coaching staff quite a bit, or is he too good to let go and I should train him up myself?
2007-10-11 16:32:13
I would sell him, get a better youth coach and invest on players that can help you win.

It will be good for him as a player and for you as a team.

He'll go to a team that can afford better coaching staffs and you can use that kind of cash. make sure you're winning in your new league before you upgrade your stadium. When you do upgrade, build in large increments (min 2000).

by "invest in players that can help you win" i hope you meant "improve your trainees who aren't as talented as they should be"

While mentoring I noticed that many users could seriously improve their team buy bringing in old rounded players in positions that are not specificly trained.

ok should I wait until everyone gets their money before I put him up? I thought I read somewhere that most people use their renewal money on their stadium right away and people won't have as much money at that moment. Of course when I see some guys bidding 8-10 Million for a guy I guess it won't be any problem for those types to drop 1-2 million on my guy any time of the year.

Should I advertise before I put him up? Ideally would we want him to go to a USA team to keep our own. Is he NT quality?

thanks for answering all my novice questions.

He would have made the NT for sure if this was week 1. Now it depends on where he ends up and how he's trained.

Midfielder trainees are difficult to find and expensive so he has a good chance of making the NT in the future.

The market goes crazy after the bonuses during weeks 1 thru about 4. Sell him in week 1 or 2.

could be NT quality indeed. If you want him to go USA, i'll be interested and would give you a nice fair min bid. Best ways to help him go USA is to list at night our time (middle of the night european time) and to not advertise (just put on tlist).

agree with lakay you should sell weeks 1-2. make sure you train him in the offseason (stam is fine if you were planning that)

Hector Prince, age: 19
value: 118 250 $, wage: 1 550 $
club: High Point Hitmen, country: USA
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

adequate stamina, tragic keeper
tragic pace, average defender
adequate technique, very good playmaker
very good passing, very good striker

3.82 weeks a pop. Haven't figured if he stays in Carolina or not.

Wow, that pace is a killer. Under my training strategy, by 22 he'd have outstanding striker and probably very good-ish tech, but only average or so pace.
2007-10-12 02:13:58
His pace is a tragedy

Flip the striker and defender, and even with the pace he'll do.

talent? please
2007-10-13 19:24:55
I don't know how to figure out talent. Let's just go with "a lot."
