Subject: USA Future Stars Season 10

2007-07-23 02:26:59
It is not hugely important to me. But I do miss having a USA nat team striker. When I finally sell Le Breton and Bu, I am going to try and rebuild with some USA talent.

I don't know anything about Jarhead. I haven't bothered to go digging through that thread.

If it was super important to buy THIS guy, and keep him in the USA, I would consider it.
2007-07-23 05:04:30
I was interested in the striker, but the price is steep.
2007-07-23 06:09:43
Sorry, was on vacation, but here he is:

Arnold Travolta, age: 20
value: 126 000 $, wage: 1 625 $
club: High Tops, country: USA
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina, unsatisfactory keeper
hopeless pace, unsatisfactory defender
solid technique, good playmaker
solid passing, excellent striker

Pace sucks, but he did pop to brilliant on the last week. Will play and get some playmaker training
2007-07-23 06:43:12
Ouch on the age, too.
2007-07-24 02:29:28
Jarhead is cool.

Also, the unsat defense on Vinnie Barbarino aka Travolta is unfortunate.
2007-07-24 21:27:39
plz make sure i notice any mids that come out...

I'm looking for one starter and then one future star.
2007-07-26 06:39:48
Incredible Junior. 4 week talent just came out. What do you guys think?

Earnie Garland, age 19
value: 86 750 $, wage: 1 175 $
very good form

average stamina,
solid pace,
good technique,
poor passing,
hopeless keeper
average defender
good playmaker
good striker
2007-07-26 06:52:50
Nice. Only downside is his age. You selling or keeping?
2007-07-26 06:54:54
Not sure. What is he worth ballpark and what do you figure he should be trained in?
2007-07-26 07:04:17
striker
2007-07-26 07:07:45
I would think no less than $100k, no more than $150k.
2007-07-26 07:16:43
I pulled this guy last season, but he's turning out to be rather talented (so far). I thought that he deserved mention after randomly popping in technique.

Rick Lucas, age: 19
value: 128 750 $, wage: 2 075 $
club: Kentucky Cats, country: USA
hopeless form, good tactical discipline

good stamina, hopeless keeper
good pace, weak defender
outstanding technique, average playmaker
unsatisfactory passing, very good striker
2007-07-26 07:42:46
Finally have a guy that deserves mention here. My first sub 4 week talent... first pop took four weeks, second pop took three.

Gerald Butler very good 27

At 3.5 weeks/pop, that would be an unearthly junior. And he'll probably be a 21 year old keeper.

Anyone interested in this guy please SK Mail me

Gerald Mulrooney, age: 19
value: 68 750 $, wage: 1 050 $
club: 3wide.com Strike FC, country: USA
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

poor stamina, hopeless keeper
unsatisfactory pace, very good defender
unsatisfactory technique, unsatisfactory playmaker
solid passing, hopeless striker

He was in my youth system for 16 weeks and had 4 skill pops during that time
2007-07-26 14:28:04
Will you be training him as a striker?

Rick Lucas
