Interested in hearing feedback and opinions...

Does anyone know how much the difference between magical and unearthly impacts training?

I am just tired of burning money trying to find an unearthly and wonder if magical in main skill is enough. 6 attempts no luck, and the TL is a bit crazy now. Thanks.

I don't think there would be very much difference at all.

I want to say guac told me the difference is about 10% of effectiveness...not 100% sure of that number though.

So assuming an 18 or 19 yo, we are talking like a week extra over two seasons. Is that fair assessment?

yeah, i guess. mebbe 1.5 weeks over 2 seasons.

In the stat being trained. Of course the other stats are also affected.

Thanks, yes this one has better secondary skills than any coach I have ever had, so the tradeoff is not bad either. Appreciate the input guys.

I have a question related to this topic; I recently switched my Brilliant Youth coach to a Magical one. ...Will the switch to Magical coach help these players gain a week in pops?
Edward Quattrocchi outstanding 3 (Talent 5, with the old coach should come out Outs+4)
Artie Sherman formidable 8 (Talent 4, with the old coach should come out Incred.+3)
Damon Kozar outstanding 10 (Talent 3.25 with the old coach should come out Magc+3)

I am SOOOOO tired of trying to pull another magical coach. The one good thing is that I pulled a real cheap brilliant today, to replace one of my assistants. I'm saving about $3k/week. Between the pull fee and termination fee for the old guy, I'll pay for the switch in 2009 or so.... :) (Actually, about 25 weeks, but this is still ridiculous).

I just spent $160k trying to recruit a magical coach. For my trouble, I pulled another cheap brilliant that will save me $3k/week. Wheee.

nice! that means your investment will pay for itself in one year. real time.

edit: actually, 10-12 weeks longer then this. Because you had to give the first guy his one week walking papers.

Yup. Pretty soon I'll have a bunch of brilliant assistants making $29k. Wheee.
