The first pop does not count as there is no way to tell if it was a full pop. Player only had one full pop in his history.

Well, if he was 4 weeks in school and made 2 pops it still makes him a 3 week talent.

My bad loop. I looked at the wrong number. I saw the number 6 in "Initial Skill: 6" and was thinking he had been in the junior squad for 6 weeks.

I cannot get anywhere with the data too.
I know that you lose the first pop if you don't update sokker manager before the first training (since youth joins on saturday), but this would have caused his initial level to be adequate....
