Subject: »[Junior]USA Youth Roll Call

2009-01-23 17:15:43
it seems that his talent is very close to the max talent possible
2009-01-23 17:40:58
isn't it pretty well established 3 weeks is the minimum talent?
2009-01-23 18:13:18
i read the international forum A LOT:) and from what they say the max talent is kind of converging toward 3 but pure 3 cannot be obtained.

some have even developed formulas that take into account max level of incoming junior (7.99), max nr of weeks (34) and max junior level (17.99) or sth like that (that kinda gives you a max talent of 3.4 but i do not think it works cause the coach would just decrease the amount of weeks left..)

people also talked about their own juniors ..

anyways i think that the consensus right now is that 3.0 talent is impossible..

Hopefully Jimmy "The Kingpin" Gallatin ( sorry dio i didn't mean to nick name your kid :) ) will be the first pure 3 week popper.
2009-01-23 19:19:54
Since I'm training pace right now, I'm going to keep him for awhile and see how he progresses.
could be selling when I switch off pace training.
I'll let you know, if you want...

ivysafety39 to dundey
you selling?
2009-01-23 19:24:26
i tend to think it is the low end of the bell curve of talent possiblities and that to say they are very few is an understatement. but i think 3 week is the dead minimum and probably comes around to %1 of the pulls a season. and since most get automatically sacked for crap starting level, most never see the light of day...

but i'm still holding out hope...
2009-01-23 20:26:05
most of the "experimental" data is taken without an unearthly coach and i agree that the max talent is probably rare and often sacked that's why i was always thinking that 3.0 is the max possible talent but as i said according to some equations written on the international forum people think that 3.0 is not possible...

wel einstein said once that although we know that there is enormous energy sleeping inside atoms humans will never be able to use it and ups twenty years later the bomb was dropped...

so i hope to get a 3.0 talent one day and prove them wrong hyhyhyhy

Sorry to disappoint YOU, but he just missed his first 3 weeks pop. I was following that thread in INternational as well, i will update tomorrow probably.

So after 4 3weeks pops, Jimmy got one @ 4(hopefully).

^_^

3.25 talent is really awesome though. i've had one 3.3 before... but came out 19 w/ tragic pace.... ugh.

I'm not complaining. I just want him to be "Superdivine"^_^ (right now he's @ 2 weeks over divine)
