well...setting the TL for his stats on pace, tech, and striker, you only find guys with those numbers at around age 23. and it looks like they are likely to go in the neighborhood of probably 250-400k. so...this guy, being 20, should go for at least twice that and probably more.

so...like i said...lots. :D

with proof of given talent, 1.5-2m usd
2009-02-15 15:46:53
see? LOTS!
2009-02-15 15:58:34
I would say more.
2009-02-15 16:13:06
maybe more, depends on a potential bidding war
2009-02-15 20:22:16
2m minimum but probably much more
2009-02-15 21:06:08
i don't think so... 1.5-2mil...tops.

He is young, talented and complete. He also has very high pace for such a young player which is rare and makes him quite a valuable player.

This guy was sold for $5.2m

Bérenger Vaury, age: 18
value: 159 500 €, wage: 2 025 €
club: Lémurien Sporting Club, country: France
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

poor stamina, unsatisfactory keeper
good pace, hopeless defender
very good technique, excellent playmaker
very good passing, unsatisfactory striker

he is younger but Dermontti Rose is more complete and has more pace (the slowest parameter to be trained) so i still think he should go for more than $2m.

well thank you all for your input and if you are interested, he is officially on the market. bid early and bid often I always say

there is NO comparing these two guys... besides the HUGE difference in age, the younger player is a much more rounded mid and projects to be MUCH better. vaury has two levels of PM, one level passing and is still very trainable in pace... and HE'S 18! whatever... take my opinion for what its worth... as a MID trainer, i've sold guys very similar to dermontti maybe a year older, with more PM and not gotten over $2mil.

but the guy is still young and is more complete.

the younger is much better but the price was also muuuch higher :)

i think the high pace makes him an expensive player..

well he went for just under 2.2 so I'm pretty happy with that. Now the next question is, would I have gotten more for him if I had sold him as soon as he came out of my school, 17.4 years old with the following skill set?

Stamina - hopeless
Pace - good
Technique - good
Passing - good
Keeper - hopeless
Defender - weak
Playmaker - adequate
Striker - average

roughly the same, but 3 seasons of a training spot out the window

well he went for more than 2m so i guess i was right :)
2009-02-18 21:49:49
but not "much more"...

i think i was pretty dead on saying 2mil tops considering he went for 2.2...
