Train stamina only once a season during the off-season. There is no need for more. I guess he should play for U21, therefore one stamina training per season is more than enough. General training is useful too if your head coach is high in stamina.

yes, to train in off-season is my plan. I have had the guy for a week. Thought about training stamina this past week, but decided to wait until off-season.
I have another pretty good 19 year old striker whose stamina is only GOOD. He also has excellent PACE- he outruns the defenders in the first half. However in the second half he slows down tremendously. So I will probably train stamina in off-season, then again around week 7 or so next season.
