If an American coach is considering running for election, I'll wait one more day for that.

I am considering coming back to the ML next season...
After all... every major league needs a hearty troll! ;)
Cheers!
I agree with you. I said in the previous elections that I would be a candidate if no American user was running.

I think you're a great candidate/ coach!
that is not what a meant..
I'm personally just not a huge fan of the NT teams.
that's all..
I do wish you the best of luck! and I hope you have a great time with the team!!
Cheers

Borkos, you are correct about one thing. "Rigged" is the wrong word to use. I am chronically unlucky, here.
This, however, is not true: "The longer you have a youth school the higher is your chance for getting lucky"
The probability is the same each and every week. You are no more likely to get a great pull after 40 weeks of poor pulls then you are after getting a great pull last week.
Your last point makes sense, and is something I never thought of before. Thanks for that. I will do this.

well that depends
you might be referring to gambler's fallacy (if last 4 flips were tails then the next one must be heads etc.) which is indeed bollocks
what I meant is that if you have YS for 50 weeks then there's a bigger chance for gold than when you have a YS for 5 weeks (300 draws vs 30 draws)

yeah many people ignore that. while I agree that YS is costly and often just a money sinkhole (I've got 1 500 $ from YS during 10 months (1 player sold, rest wasn't even worth 1$), the cost of 6 empty spots times 4-5 at starts of season (without even YS coach, just best main/assistant moved at Friday for assessment) is minuscule in comparison to possible profit. Fresh 16s go for crazy money, just need to get a 4-6 16 with 2-4 weeks to leave YS and you're golden.
such lucky 16 can pay for numerous whole seasons of running a YS:)

Well, if this ends up happening one of these seasons, I will reopen my school.
Truth of the matter is, I've been less angry about the whole thing since I closed it down.
I've got a whole lot of things to be angry about in life these past few years. Seeing constant failure in my YS, while seeing everyone else making money was just one source of that anger. So, I removed it.
Now, at least I'm not hemorrhaging money (sunk cost fallacy avoidance) - while most of my competitors get a cash infusion from the RNG gods every season or two.

I had few good trainees but most of youth school is useless. My most talented trainee is a Nigerian midfielder i purchased.
That being said im keeping the school haha.

Youth strategy.
This isn't my invention, but it's worth a try.
You know the player attributes from 0 to 18.
Let's say you have 14 players in your youth academy, but one of them has DISASTER or terrible stats. If you fire incompetent players on Thursday, there's a good chance better players will arrive on Saturday.
You should fire even talented players (adequate = 6).
The worst player you have (skill level 7, so he should be good) should have this attribute.
This way, you won't face incompetent players on Saturday.
The person who implemented this strategy sold 12 million worth of youth players in real time over three seasons at Sokker.

I used the same strategy for four months, but it didn't work for me.
Maybe it will work for you, too.

this is effectively what I did every season except the first one, when I was clueless.
It doesn't work for everyone. I just get more and more trash. It IS a good idea though, I think.
I only kept just enough to field a team in junior league, so the 11 best trainees were always there, and after Tuesday's game I dropped down to 9, since there were never actually 11 decent trainees. Kept 15 spots (9+6)
Cost wasn't in the youth slots, it was the coach.

I would train more U21 players but I currently am training 2 senior NT strikers, a GK, and a future mid if his form ever goes up.
I have had no luck in the past 4-5 seasons finding any super trainees but I won’t stop trying to find them in YS. And when I did they are a GK
Hopefully soon I will have more slots for U21 mustafa

I'm definitely looking for another u21 trainee. I have room and some cash. I've given up on getting Kerry Marshall to NT Striker. He has too far to go.
Any good US u21 looking for a home, let me know.
