Subject: formation help needed

I create a 3-4-3 formation and When I save it it's fine. Then I go to match orders and of the 3 Attackers, the left and right has shifted right behind my mid striker. They are both in the circle part of midfield- right behind him. How do I fix this? Thanks

The formation that you see in the selection screen is an average of all the positions that each player is on in the field. If your strikers are all together, it's probably because the left and right strikers switch sides of the field depending on which side the ball is on. For some reason, the default tactics do that with 3 striker sets.

Oh. So does it just "appears" like that, but during a match they would actually spread to the left and right rather than their bunched up triangle? I'm still trying to save another tactic and it's giving me the same effect
