The DB is nice, you can sort players and find your best players quicker.
It does not eliminate users lying about their player's skills because some are entered manually but it's easier to keep track on who has not been updated recently and to sokkermail the user about an update.
It's the way to go! The next coach will be happy.

the db should flag who was manually entered versus who was done using the greasemonkey stuff... if it doesn't do that, lets suggest it to the dev.
