Actually Llama, you're pretty correct re: you having horrible 'luck' also. Both your ties look very unlucky.
2007-08-24 19:50:47
but look at his strikers and compare them to yours :P
2007-08-24 21:04:27
true, but I guess I feel his pain a bit.

Still, my one (full) season in C league I blew out everyone by 4+ goals except for one team that was about as good as mine...and I had no better then solid strikers with whatever crap then :)
2007-08-24 23:48:48
yea it wasn't the best start of the season

I was expecting to beat "everyone by 4+goals" but of course the sokker gods hate me.

not only that, my strikers are solid, solid, VG with good secondaries including VG pace and VG defending.

oh how much it upsets me

At least I haven't really lost anything i shouldn't. only tied. though they cost me a chance at league title prob.

guess we'll just have to wait another.

maybe one day my strikers will be as good as islanders...but actually put the shots away :)

LOL, A second of my starting strikers just popped to formidable last week.

I'll look forward to seeing him get 8 shots on goal from inside 18 yards and shank them all sunday.

On a keeper with solid skill.

A bit late but i know a few times from experience;

Shorter healing time does only apply in NT games where he was injured, not league matches (if in NT)
2007-08-25 08:15:36
I don't think so. Kurt Leffew healed more quickly while he was on the Nats team, and was never injured in a nats game.
2007-08-25 08:20:04
Well (without sounding arrogant) i've had a few players on NT that have been injured playing for the country and not, and from my observations my trend has been different from Leffew's.
2007-08-25 08:23:53
Well, obviously my experience differs. I was paying particularly close attention to it because he was an important player for me.
2007-08-25 08:48:39
same for me. I acknowledged your having differing results, i'm just saying my pool of experience is bigger.

lol silly discussion

i think the healing process DOES speed up when the player is on a NAT team

it just makes more sense

and no personal experience, but from what i've seen it does.

and yea islander

I can only await the same results

benmor's right.

I noticed and watched it because I honestly felt it was an abuse of power by Lakay for allowing him to stay on the team solely for injury healing sake (because he wasn't injured in an NT game to begin with. If he was, I'd have understood it).
