Subject: NT Coaches's pain

Almost every day foreign users soccermail their trash players to me requesting that they be part of the NT.

Sometimes I'm nice and respond to them yet they insist that I grant their request.

"If he can play for only a few minutes in the next game..."

Some insist on updating me on their players that will never make the NT.

It will releive some of the frustration if I share this with you and post their "wanna be" NTs in this thread.

Here's a candidate for U-21:

Sampson Clay, age: 21

If he was 19yo I would take him in a heart beat but he's 21!

It's too many of them, Thursdays are the worst. When I kindly tell them that their player don't have a shot, they insist and asked to see current NT players.

I also hope that this thread will slow down the mail flooding. I've received so many messages that I've lost mails that I didn't get to read.

i've gotten a couple mails also :P

Tell them to go away, or that their player isn't good enough.

Keep telling them that, they get quite annoyed I have found.

i think you should tell them to list them here in this thread so we can all verbally thrash them... or praise their player and agree with their assertions.... or just thrash them... :)

What gets to me is when they come back and say:

"What can I train him to make him NT?"

or

"Can he play a few minutes"

or this one too.....(they are my players btw :P)

Why not say no and nothing else? Short, sharp and only 2 keys to press and a click of the mouse.

and if they message you back just say "no" again....:) that will get them of your back

I've done that,

a few weeks later after the player improve from adequate to good pace I get another mail:

"Can he play now?"

Maybe I should try 5 letters :)
