Ivy, what are you training him in? He has no primary to speak of.

I sold an 18 yo with similar distribution, but excellent in tech and pace, and got $400k. Even if you get him up in a primary that pace will be killer. Never close to von's guy.

He has 4 1/2 seasons in which to train him.

2 1/2 seasons of pace followed by 2 of pm will make him a decent winger. Provided he has any talent.

he's probably better than all your players put together :P

Dagwood, you are comparing an 18 yo to a 22 yo in your example. It sounded to me like Ivy was hoping to get similar money sooner than later.

I was giving Ivy a little more credit than that.

i was planning on at least two seasons of pace/pm and not looking for near that much money, maybe 200-300k... i only got him for 30K, so i'm not trying to make millions, just a decent return... at least someone has faith in me, thanks dag....

I think there's a lot to be said for playing the "Moneyball" strat in Sokker... picking up the players that are undervalued by the market, selling players that are overvalued by the market. I would never spend that kind of money on that kind of player (hell, I wouldn't have spent the $2 million that you bought him for, either).

i really dont think you will get that kind of money for all of your players put together.

you gotta learn how to survive :P
