Subject: Juniors Coach

Not being the best economical person in the game, I decided I'd ask around for help on what I should do about a juniors coach. I read the rules and yada yada about total skills added or something but I'm not 100% sure about what's best.

What would you guys recommend?

Buy the best you can afford. Don't worry about specific skills. Find the best overall assessment with the cheapest possible wage.

I have 20K income

(19K one week)
(1K the next)

so i'll spend 6K each weak on juniors and have 8K for a coach? is that too much or a good amount.

More slots for my junior squad instead?

with that amount you can get a Exclnt coach... though i'd prolly go for more slots and a lower coach... a very good coach doesn't make a huge difference in coaching, but would net you prolly three more slots, which would provide you a better chance to draw good/talented youths... which i think are more valuable than .2 pops/week training over the course of a season... but what do i know...

you must have 5 coaches. 1 main, 3 assistants, and 1 junior

Be in debt on a weekly basis, that's fine, but don't skimp out on having 3 assistants.

At firs tthey should be about solid.

And you need two teams worth of the most talented, young trainees yuou can have in what ever position you're training. Preferably having similar "needs" which are the same as what you plan on training...

Ie if you plan on training mids, have 10 players all of whom need whatever you're gonna focus on (ie tech for mids, passing for mids, defense for mids, pm for mids)

I can't emphasize that last post enuf. I don't care if you're the manager you think you are, if you have a poor training plan you'll never escape B-league.

I have 1 main coach with unearthly scoring

my 3 assistant coaches are ok....

but do they have to be solid coaches? or have solid abilities.

and yes i understand the junior thing

so if i'm training forwards i should have 6 players

btw

I don't think I'm that great of a manager

:)

"And you need two teams worth of the most talented, young trainees yuou can have in what ever position you're training."

G means 2 classes of players in the same team.

A: your league starters
B: your youth trainees

* Not two seperate teams, you'll get kicked out if you own 2 teams.

lol now i really hope you don't take me for THAT big of a manager noob :)

maybe ur just trying to get back at me

yea I know

i play hattrick and i read the rules and stuff so 1 team with ur backup team or the guys u play ur friendlies with are the "2nd team"

for an assistant, the specific skills are utterly irrelevant, only the general appraisal counts.

Read the threads on training/coaches in the Mentors USA forum. Plz don't start spamming or posting in that forum tho, it's only to be posted in by mentors.
