Now....

Might I ask how they are scoring so much more than me? My keeper is Solid and my defense is pretty good. Not only that, my strikers are Very Good, Very good, solid....

It also cost me some games and made me tie them *cough* Tumbledown and peter's park *cough*

quality of shot? better scorers? better goalies?

More than half these teams are bots with crappy players

I don't think they have better than a solid goalie nor better than VG strikers

The only thing that could account for this is quality of shots.

Because if there's one simple thing Greg could fix that would make the match report considerably more useful, it'd be to separate shots taken from shots actually making it on goal. Heck, he could add breakaways as a category as well. Make it even better.

Outside of this, you could have garbage luck to an extent. Some of us are no strangers to that - whether it be injury luck or just odd results luck.

So why does my team take thousands of crappy shots while they take a lot of good ones?

and if you ever watch some of my matches, you'll see a lot of them were within the 18 yard box that were close, not like long long bombers.

Funniest sequence was my latest match against the secret bobcats

In the 66th minute I think it took 4 shots on target from about 7 yards about before I could slide one past the keeper...

it's really hard to say without reviewing matches. Because again, the match report isn't particularly worthwhile in telling the story.

With players C league caliber, you tend to get erratic results in general because skill levels are modest.

Still, at the C level you should be able to put yourself in a dominating position against most - if not all teams. The most I've seen competitive wise in a given C league is two good teams.

Also could have been max's anti-button...

I recently entered discussions about getting the buttons for myself, we'll see if anything comes of it.
