Lakay this season so far seems like twice as good as last season for future usa stars. Correct or am I being too optimistic?

We certainly have more who make the cut for the list.

I've got an incredible +25% coming out week #17

Kyle Van Buren very good 17 4 week talent

It's too early to tell, we had 20+ incredible pulls last season but many of them came out old or with poor skill distribution.

We have a good start with Melvin, let's hope for more like him or better. Melvin is great for a week 1 pull.

his secondary skills are to low to train all of them at, i would concentrate on pace and tech, and make a decent striker out of him

I would suggest defender, as he would need less tech.

Well, since I am not set up to do either of those, I will probably sell him.
