Subject: [NT] vs Nederland

Saturday will see my first game in charge, with Nederland making a trip all the way over to the USA, via NZ where they will hopefully get lost ;).

USA's past games against Nederland:

Nederland 3-1 USA (group stage WC)
Nederland 3-0 USA (friendly)

Only 2 meetings previously but both of them resulted in comfortable victories for the Nederland.

I do also have a previous history against the Wrestny shadowman, with him currently leading 2-1 on victories so this one is a bit of a grudge match between both of us!

Their squad
Possibly one of the best outside of Poland. With no clear cut weakness, thanks to strength in depth and being one of the better established nations, it will be tricky to beat them. My target for the game is to get a point, anything else would be a bonus. At the very least, a USA loss has to be narrow, just in case things result in GD at the end of the season (SK can be funny sometimes). Mike Van Den Eede, is their main threat up front.

If anything, the only problem with their side would probably be age - but they are not that old yet.

I am currently thinking of a 3 month plus prize at the end of the season for the most points, with the points system looking like this:

Spot on result - 25 points
Correct result - 10 points
Guessing for minute - 10 points minus 1 point for every 1 minute off of the first event as above

Just so people are aware - I probably won't be online again until Saturday at some point after tomorrow morning, so may be slightly slow on the responding to SK mail front! Lineup and subs are provisonally set, pending injuries and any dramatic form changes.

ps. Valentine got technique training this week because Vik Parmentier got injured for...3-4 weeks. So he will improve about 2 levels in technique and then start pace training. Lucky for USA :)

Lineup all set and complete (barring any last minute changes of my mind). Situation isn't ideal. Some of the players I would have liked to use are injured or in not particularly good form.
