The defender did get an elbow. But his over-exxageration of the hit was just disgraceful.
Turned the game around...ok. Doesn't explain the other 4 goals, really.
Mexico's back 4 aren't starters, except Magallon, and he just sucked. How many errors did he make? Our whole midfield aren't starters, except Torrado, sometimes. Miguel Sabah, the lone striker, these games were his first ever for Mexico, he's like 30?? Vela and Dos Santos had been playing, though not impressing. They seemed to have grown in this tournament. So...

You've never heard of Perkins, I have. He played for DC United. He was the first MLS goalie to receive a goal from freekick from David Beckham. He plays in Norway, I think. And he's the reason the scoreline wasn't 9-0. Well, unless Vela actually had finishing and didn't kick it straight at him, and Miguel Sabah too.
He provided leadership and instruction to your defense which kept us from scoring ;)
Magallon wasn't starter in the last couple of OFFICIAL games? the only starter for the NT sometimes is Torrado, vela and gio were both sent to the vip section the first couple of games with Vasco, so they weren't starters either
ochoa isn't starter with Vasco... its el Conejo from Jaguares
