usa lost 4-2.. and mexico lost 2-1 to holland

what is your point? The weather was crap and it was raining for the holland-mexico game so it takes away from the dutch play. Mexico played the weather well and used their youth and quickness to cause some problems for the dutch.
US played 2 or 3 starters in their game and Onweyu is still injured and shouldn't be playing.

Mexico has played well their past 2 games and could cause some problems for the teams they play in the WC but it will be interesting to see if they can score. The US is going to struggle but i think both have easy enough groups that they should get out of the group stages.

Not sure if the USA will get by the groups to be honest. Slovenia will play everyone tough in the USA group. They aren't pushovers.

Agreed. I think it all depends on our defense. Our defense has looked poor this entire qualifying and lead up to the WC. If our defense is stable than we should be able to get through but otherwise slovenia could squeeze through.

I actually think mexico's group is the hardest of all... france is france... south africa... we all know what they are... mexico suck at defending set pieces... uruguay have 2 great forwards and an all around great team

oh and mexico played with only the goalie as a wc starter.. the whole starting lineup against holland was reserves..

That was already pointed out.

In fact USA, Ceska, Holland and Mexico all used mostly reserves.

I don't see the point in using reserves against strong opponents just before the world cup...

It was the last match before final cuts....

Ask Ballack and the other German Player who got injured.......

Those friendlies were for the coaches to decide who to bring to the WC. Most NT teams at this point already have an identity, so why risk to injure first team players
