A friendly reminder guys....there's this amazing hockey sim that's free to play and is the most fun and challenging game online (for hockey).

If so, please register for a FREE team at hockeyarena.net.

Our country isn't quite as large as some of the European countries there, so I am just taking a stab at seeing if any of the hockey savvy people may be interested in testing their skills against other American managers. Among the things Hockey Arena offers:

- 30 match seasons, each season lasts 70 days.
- A tiered league system where if your goal is to promote to tier 1/NHL from typically tier 4.
- Individual player training, specialized as you wish for each player (a feature unlike any other free online hockey sim in existence)
- an active forum base, a National support team always around to answer questions.
- Develop your own youth school, getting trainees to build your team up over the seasons. Or simply buy players off of the market and build a stalwart team of experienced veterans.
- Develop your training and regeneration facilities - to imrpove your players, making them better then your opponents!
- Also, if you are into the economic side of running a team, this game has a robust economy and learning to understand and master it is a large part of developing success in the game.

If this sounds of any interest to you at all, I would kindly suggest you check us out at http://www.hockeyarena.net/.

Feel free to reply here, or send me a private message there (my team is the Baltimore Islanders, of USA division III.3) and I will be happy to help you get started.

Thanks for reading!

I stopped signing on, game is too cumbersome, and unlike HT or SK, no one really offers much help, even if you ask for it. SK is much better.

I realize you had asked for me for help at one point....but did you consider asking for help on the actual forums?

Sokker is a better overall game, but it's not hockey.

Hat Trick? That game's very, very simplistic. Nothing special at all.

Yup I did in HA, and not a single response. Did it twice.

That's odd. Did you ask for a specific question, or just help in general?

I know Ranger35 has been developing a mentoring program similar to here...but I havent seen him for a while.

I'll take alook at your team from that email you sent some time back, for what its worth. I got really sidetracked with U20 national team work for several week but thats all over now.

I have no idea how the match engine works in HA. :(

I have a hard time finding friendlies in that game.

If you aren't a sponsor, I imagine so.

Sponsors have an easy time. The game finds friendlies for them.

No, under communications, Click Discussions, not Discussions-USA.

Then scroll down all the way to end, after the countries, and its gonna say "Friendly"
