Hi everybody,
I'm practicing essay's writing for the TOEFL test, and I'll be grateful to anyone could correct it and give me feedbacks for improving my writing. I'll post in the exactly way I've written it, so don't be scared by structural and grammar mistakes.

NUMBER 1
Some people prefer to eat at food stands or restaurant. Other people prefer to prepare and eat food at home. Which do you prefer? Use specific reason and example to support your asnwer.
The habit which lead lots of people to attend stands or restaurant has increased a lot from the past decade. A lot of people made of this habit a constricted way of life: those who work in big cities and live in the suburbs, students which attend courses far from their own country, and many other class of travelling people are forced to have lunch (or even dinner) in places where they can't stay for many minutes.This is the reason which brought those who are called "fast foods" to have greater and greater success: they grant you a "ready" meal which can let you preserve time for other things (such as attending a gym or rounding for shopping).
By my own I have to follow this same philosophy, at least at midday. I'm a student far from home (I live in MIlan and study in Genova) and I never have the time to come back home for lunching; so I have to buy sandwiches or hot dogs nearby the university. On the other hand, luckily, University courses end at 5 p.m in the afternoon, so I can find a lot of time to prepare some more elaborated foods.
This because I've always loved cooking, expecially for parents and friends. Cooking gives me a sense of joy which few other activities (e.g playing instruments or painting) can do. Expecially I like prepare great party at my home, where invite friends and let them taste my capability in this "art".
Moreover cooking allows you to improve your relationship with your partne or friends: increasing the collaboration, making part of the same group, organizing and preparing tables and foods, these are all good situations brought by this activity.
That's why always, both at home or away, I prefer a lot preparing meals by myself.

Some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes. Others believe that attending classes should be optional for students. Which point of view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to explain your answer
There are two different ways of thinking about attending courses at University: the one who suggest you not to loose time on a desk, while you could spend your time in other manners and studying all you need by your own, and the other which believes the attendance as a direct part of a student's career.
Of course each of those points of view has weakness and strongness elements, so I don't think we can define a behave which can be considered more correct in an absolute way. For istance, is out of doubt that attending courses reduces the time you need to learn things; if you have already heard a lesson you'll save a lot of time while you'll need to learn it. On the other hand attending courses implies you don't have much time for doing other things. In most cases you have to renounce to high level sports, it's hard to find a part-time job which well suits with your calendar courses, even your spare-time with friends could be under threat.
However, an important distinction has to be made. I think there are some courses (and some Universities) which can be lead to an end even on your own. In other words they don't need to be followed. I meant, Philosophy, Maths, Physic, Biology, and so on, all are subjects pretty Theorical, which can be quite easily learnt even just on Accademic books. On the other hand there are some subjects, such as Architecture and Agriculture, which need a more pratical and deeper knoweledge you can't get unless attending lessons in class.
By my own I've always followed lessons in classrooms both in the bachelor and now in master courses, since I've always earned a lot from a more direct contact with professors and their teaching. I'm used to ask them topics I haven't well understood, and I strongly believe this is a way for studying easier and faster.
Of course this means I have to get up early in the morning, and have to renounce to a lot of activities, as mention above, but I firmly think those sacrifices are all balanced by the benefits courses' attendance can give you.

Hey mate, I've passed the TOEFL test, it's quite easy. I can assure you that the essay is the easiest task after "reading".

Be careful on adding "ing" and on plural. Overall, though, it is quite good.
