Even with all these problems he still lets donovan and dempsey go to their respective sisters weddings? I would not let them go if I were the USA coach... doesn't seem fair for the other players or the USA NT in general...
I hope it's not an issue, they asked for permission before the tournament started and wouldn't leave if the quarterfinal was on Sat instead of Sun, but yeah after the last two results it looks bad.

his goal was quality though, nice little touch around the keeper
yeah but imo he's underperforming in comparison to how he plays for his team in the EPL...
maybe so, a lot of guys do, with a club it's easier to get in a zone, internationals you're just together for a short time, coaches are different, ask you to play differently, even Messi has troubles blending with the national side.

I was at the game last night, the US had about 15% support, Honduras had 5% and Mexico easily had the other 80% of the crowd.
I would imagine the Rosebowl will have 70% support for Mexico.

man... that was some crazy trip... I thought USA would take it after being 2-0 up but for some reason they still felt like attacking and got scored against in a counterattack... Maybe their injured player Cherundolo was a reason but Mexico got 2 injuries to their defensive line aswell and they still played nicely all around Mexico smashed on USA but normal result when comparing how they had played the last couple of games.
