I really hate this new engine and its tactical positioning. My team's formations have looked like utter crap for three friendlies now. I havent lost any of them...but still, my team looks nothing like it did before.

I presently have no clue how to compensate for the stupidity factor Greg just imported into the game for me.

Not to mention that Sokker matches look more like ping-pong then soccer with all the failed passes - even short ones. It's like the players are made of rubber bands, it's rather annoying.

I can't say it's a pure lack of tech either, because I saw that garbage in your match as well. Someone needs to scale back the pass failure rates...

Sadly, tactics matter much less in the new engine...and dumb luck matters more. Which, I imagine, works out good for you, eh?

I totally agree with you about the passing. I might have gotten one shot in my match today, the rest of the passes were bouncing off my strikers, including ones with good technique. I don't mind the match engine (not gonna go into that again, though), but passing is just ridiculous.

I mean obviously we're not going to be as good as the top Polish teams, but solid passing -> good technique has to look more decent then it is. Maybe a 50% fail rate, not 99.99%

This is supposed to be a joke topic...Train more passing why don't you?

Its not a matter of traiing passing - or technique - more.

We're talking a very obvious discrepancy between pass success rates now, versus in the old engine.

It's as clear as night and day. In fact, it's so bad that I found myself actually HOPING that my midfielders passes would hit the defender - because I was sure it would bounce off of him and my striker would get it. It happened too, once or twice.

Problem is, my passing is quite good, so my passes would always hit MY player - then bounce off of them even if their tech wasn't bad.

The rate of tech failures on passing is way too high.

I can agree to disagree with people who like the tactical positioning side of this...

Obviously my team is disadvantaged by it because I can't afford a coach good enough overall to compensate for this - so it makes my team worse.

If you actually watch the game you'll see it wasn't tactics that beat me it was superior performance of his strikers.

Not even gonna make excuses, but if you also had the insight to look at our teams and see who played, you may be able to figure out some contributing factors.

Here's an idea. How about you take out your frustration on my team next time you play. Maybe you'll garner 4 shots on goal next match.
